Our Mission
At Grumpy’s, we understand the vital importance of protecting, preserving, and restoring native landscapes and have dedicated our lives to the process of sustainably harvesting and growing hardy and site specific native species.
Our team, composed of our highly skilled nursery personnel and senior project managers, has experience with all aspects of the native plant life cycle and on-site application processes.
We believe the success of a project is in direct correlation with the quality of the plant and seed material being used in the application. We pride ourselves on our expertise in the careful production of native plant material and our comprehensive knowledge in ecological restoration.

Experience managing large-scale projects within National Parks, on mine sites, highway right-of-ways, and Environmentally Sensitive Areas.
Certified as a Commercial Seed Processing Facility by the Alberta Tree Improvement & Seed Centre.
Over 200 species in nursery inventory and continually expanding into more challenging species.

Site planning, native seed collection, processing, and production of over a million plants for the largest reclamation project to take place in a Canadian National Park.
